LIFE AND WORK

Bob was born in New York and lived in Mount Vernon until he was 20. He studied at the Art Students League in New York City (1947) and at the Franklin School of Art, also in New York (1947-50).

There he had his first contact with Stirling Dickinson, who was already living in San Miguel and was a professor at the Allende Institute, and encouraged him to go to San Miguel.
